Posted December 08, 2018 08:23:56 New tools are coming for the next-generation console and PC.
A new tool for the Xbox One S, for example, will let users remotely disable the console’s Kinect sensor, a feature that can be used to disable the camera, or change the camera’s position.
New Xbox 360 game tools, meanwhile, will allow developers to add in a camera shake or a new character animation when playing on the 360 console.
Xbox One game tools will also allow developers who make games for the console to make a game for the new console, a change that will allow them to add a new level of gameplay without needing to buy the next game console or buy a separate PC.
The Xbox One console will also receive new game controllers, including a gamepad with a touchpad.
The new controller will have a wider range of motion, with more control options than a standard gamepad.
Microsoft’s Andrew House has said that the new controllers will be available for free on the Xbox Live Marketplace starting January 8.
