Google announced a new productivity feature last week that’s designed to make it easier to find tasks, tasks lists and tasks for specific tasks and deadlines.
Google Now also includes reminders for tasks, lists of items and deadlines, but the new feature doesn’t actually add any of the things we’d expect from a calendar.
The new feature is still in beta and only available for Android devices, so there’s a lot of room for error here.
But there’s an important distinction between using the new tool and using a calendar, so let’s take a closer look at what to expect from the new calendar feature.
Google has a new tool that will let you find and organize tasks, task lists and deadlines Google Now uses a simple layout, but it’s still a bit confusing.
Google seems to be using a more complicated calendar format that’s a bit more complicated than what we’ve seen in the past, and it’s possible Google is going through the effort of making it easier for people to find their own tasks, notes and deadlines in a new way.
In order to find your own tasks Google Now includes an option to add a task as a new task, task list or deadline, which you can then select and add to your calendar.
You can also add a new item to your list of tasks to get to that specific task.
Google’s calendar format is simpler, with a single row for each task or task list.
Each task has a task title, a description and an action that you can type in to take it to task.
For example, if I add a calendar task for my upcoming exam, it’ll show me the task title and the task summary.
Then, when I click the task, I’ll be able to view the task details, which will show a summary of the task and a link to the task in a Google Calendar app.
The tasks list and task list are also separated by a colon (:), which can be helpful when you’re working with multiple tasks or tasks lists.
This separation helps with navigation and can help to make tasks easier to follow.
Google is working on the feature for iOS, but there are no plans to bring it to Android in the near future.
Google will continue to expand the feature on Android with future updates, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
